Texas Forestry Museum Offers Excitement and Education
at the Texas State Forest Festival
Make your Texas State Forest Festival experience fun and
educational, and stop by the Texas Forestry Museum’s Booth in the children’s
During the Forest Festival, the museum will have lots of
crafts and educational activities available to the public. These activities
include hand painting a Sweetgum tree quilt, plant and animal crayon rubbings, discovering
the native plants of East Texas, and the Tree bucket game.
The Children’s Festival will also have booths featuring the
Texas A & M Forest Service, the Wood turners, the United States Forest
Service, and more. So make sure to bring your family to the 31st
Texas State Forest Festival and stop by the children’s festival to experience
the fun of forestry!
